U-SYNC
U-SYNC is an innovative sync technology developed by Sim’n Tonic and Reliq Instruments that enables ultra-precise, ultra-reliable synchronization between your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and MIDI hardware.
1, 2, Sync
Syncing your hardware to your DAW has never been easier. All you need to use U-SYNC* is your Nome II and a USB cable.
*The U-SYNC plugin is only available for Mac. However, you can still sync Nome II with DAW on Microsoft using an audio sync track.
Precision, precision, precision
U-SYNC is about 50 times more precise than “traditional” sample-accurate syncing methods with an audio signal. And, the latency can be adjusted to land your recordings right on your DAW's grid.
All gear in time on the grid
With U-SYNC and your Nome II, you can happily say goodbye to latecy and jitter issues. Spend your time on actual creativity instead of "adjustment admin".
Bi-directional control
With U-SYNC, you can control the BPM from both your DAW (like Ableton, Bitwig, or Cubase*) and your Nome II. This seamless integration gives you total flexibility and real-time sync, no matter where you set the tempo.
*For a full list of which DAWs have bi-directional control implemented, check the U-SYNC manual
Developed by Sim'n Tonic & Reliq Instruments
Made in collaboration with Reliq Instruments, U-SYNC is designed with both studio and live musicians in mind. Avoid timing issues regardless of the setting you make music in.
