# Sim'n Tonic

> Sim'n Tonic makes Nome II, a dedicated hardware MIDI master clock that locks a DAW, MIDI gear, modular synths (analog clock) and vintage Roland gear (DIN Sync) to one stable tempo. Its MIDI clock jitter is below 5 ns as master clock, and when synced to a DAW with the U-SYNC plugin the median RMS jitter is under 0.05 µs, around 20,000× lower than the DAW's own MIDI clock: the level of sync precision usually found in master clocks and studio sync hubs costing thousands of euros, in a 362 g box, with direct DAW integration. Nome II is the successor of the Midronome (Nome I). Sim'n Tonic ApS is a small independent company in Denmark, founded by musician Simon Lasnier.
